Our Services

At Gims Care solution residential childrens home, our team actively listens to young people and gives them plenty of opportunities to express themselves and explore their emotions. We support young people to stay in touch with family and friends where possible or support them to rebuild fractured relationships. We help them to access health services to ensure good physical and mental health; coupled with referring them to other services that can promote positive mental health.

We want our young people to feel included and proud of their identity, culture, and religion, so we support them with this. We enjoy sharing celebrations and helping young people to make and collect memories. We encourage young people to participate in planning meals, activities and joining in all their meetings. Our team encourage young people to do fun things which is important for building trusting relationships, wellbeing, and learning. No matter the young person's age, we encourage tasks to help them develop their independent skills. This ranges from managing pocket money, learning to cooking and doing laundry.

Flexible fee options
We offer a range of additional services/programmes. These can be combined to create a personalised package that ensures the young person’s needs are met. Our flexible fee options include:

• Inclusive transport packages
• Emergency placements
• Transition arrangements
• Part-time placements
• Outreach clinical support
• Person-centred therapeutic activities

A specific wrap around therapy service can be pulled together with more flexible individual packages. Young people who require enhanced support will be costed dependent on the degree and level of supervision required by the placing authority.
